Back in 2012 I made the decision to attempt to 'run'. 3 + years later I'm still attempting to run 😉
I trained for 5 and 10Ks and decided that in 2013 I would run my first Half... Which I did... Tinkerbells Half in Disneyland and WOW that was an experience.
After training and completing that I stopped and my mind kept telling me to get back to it. When you dream about going for a run... You start to listen to your innerself.
Well it's the end of 2015 and as much as I fought it for a few years, I'm back training. Training for what? ME! I'm not doing this to finish another half (which I will 😉) or a full, but to help me get active, workout, help me get into better shape.
I sign up and complete runs, they are for fun to encourage myself and others to remember that runs can be fun!
So you will see at mud runs, obstacle runs, theme runs, virtual fun runs and basic runs. I don't go fast, I'm more of a walker/jogger... However it my race, my pace and I'm Ok with that! 😊
